IT Resources - Revised Security Guidelines for use in General Practice
Following on from the Computer Security Templates created by the General Practice Computing Group, the RACGP have released another version. The guidelines will assist practices in maintaining the security and privacy of electronic patient and practice records which is critical for both health record systems and the operation of a general practice. Notable changes are:

• provision for HPI-I’s for all staff, the HPI-O for the practice itself.
• addition of a fault log
• Specific section on portable devices
